Oliver Jeffers joins ReadingZone Live

9th Dec 17

The creator of picture books How to Catch a Star, Lost and Found and Stuck joined ReadingZone Live for a special session about picture books and to talk about his new book, Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth (HarperCollins Children's Books).

The event was hosted by Edward Wilson Primary School in London and we were joined by several schools across the city.

After finding out more about the inspiration behind Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth, children at these schools were able to put their own questions to Oliver Jeffers.

These included finding out about how his ideas for books developed and what inspired his first book, How to Catch a Star; are there morals in his story; what he enjoys drawing; how he creates his drawings; and what he enjoys doing when he isn't working.
