Reviews
Chloe
Splash is a touching story about a young girl, Molly, whose mum abandoned her as a toddler with her Nan and Granddad. Molly is an amazingly strong swimmer, but is embarrassed to wear a swimming costume, after her supposed best friend, Chloe, made fun of her in front of the entire gang of horrid boys in the year above at her school. After secretly joining the before-school swimming club, Molly becomes close friends with a boy in the club with her. He is scraggy, dirty, and always wears clothes that are too big for him. But Molly might have to choose between him and her other friends - and there are other surprises in wait for Molly. I really enjoyed this book, as it kept surprises packed up ready for you as you read, all the way through. I would recommend Splash to any interested reader, and would rate it five stars.
