Association of Senior Children's and Education Librarians (ASCEL)
A national membership network of children's and education librarians. A national committee and 12 regional committees work with national and local organisations to promote the value of library services for children. Members have access to training, an annual conference, regular newsletters, and a members' website.

It covers reading development activity for both adults and children and offers training to school as well as public librarians.
