    A simply gorgeous peep-through picture book that introduces us to one of Aesop's most well-known fables in a simple rhyming text. The detail in the images is a delight and simply demands exploration. We see what each mouse has packed - what would children pack for their own trips away? - and the...

    I've seen two of the The Find Your Way series by Paul Boston - In Space and Underground. In this series of games, mazes and puzzle books readers embark on problem solving quests. In Underground, the task is to retrieve gold stolen from Gnomes by Luna the Dragon; in In Space the reader is on a mi...

  • The Cherry Pie Princess

    Genre: Adventure

    Princess Peony is the youngest of the royal family, with six older sisters, who as all good princesses should, only care about things like pretty dresses and shoes. • Follow Me Back

    Follow Me Back

    Name: Tom
    19 March 2017;

    Genre: Real life

    This is full of fast benders and U-turn that will always keep you hook. Without the boring "wittering" that most books like this fall into. I like the way that this is told through Facebook chat groups and various points of view from all the main characters.

  • I Am Not A Serial Killer: Now a major film

    I'm Not a Serial Killer

    Name: Tom
    19 March 2017;

    Genre: Real life

    I would recommend this book because it offers a chilling insight into our society and how unstable it can really be.

  • Find Your Way In Space

    In Space

    Name: Columbia Age 9
    19 March 2017;

    Genre: Information books

    Zubaidah, Tanjina and Lamisha: We enjoyed the Rainbow Fields because the illustrations are so colourful. Doing all the tasks made us feel involved in the story. We liked the Zeebies in their colourful suits, floating around space and enjoyed helping them fix their rocket.

  • Find Your Way Underground

    Underground

    Name: Columbia Age 9
    19 March 2017;

    Genre: Information books

    Nabila, Eva and Ava: we loved searching for the magic objects on the beautifully illustrated pages. We especially enjoyed the Hidden Lagoon challenge, looking for the glow-worm that didn't shine as brightly as the rest. We liked going round the path and doing the challenges.

  • The Bolds on Holiday

    The Bolds On Holiday

    Name: Eva Age 10
    19 March 2017;

    Genre: Humour

    I liked it when Bobby became a dog named Trumpy. My favourite character was Miranda because she's really exciting and always happy. I also liked the cartoon-style illustrations by David Roberts with speech bubbles. You know the book is going to be fun from the zany front cover.
